A few weeks back we took Hogan to the beach and let Janey enjoy the water, too.

We have had a few warm days here lately. And when we do, we take advantage of the pool. Janey still loves it and we love it because it wears her out: Pool fun:

Janey still doesn't crawl, but she can scoot with the best of them. If you look closely at this picture, you can see her "snail trail" across the sand. She began bottom right, went up, then turned left towards Ed.

Update to posts

I had heard that some of the videos are not showing up. Seems that they do show up on the computers but not the pads, phones, etc. if I upload videos from YouTube they show up on all devices....so I went back and uploaded from there so you could all see the videos- I am specifically talking about j and hogan playing and j grocery shopping.

Pretend city

Janey and I went to pretend city again- a place with mini everythings- library, dentist, grocery store, house, etc. she liked it a lot more this time- after all, she is moving around more than she used to.

Railroad park

A few weekends ago we made the drive out to Irvine Railroad Park. J had a blast- we road the train, walked through the small zoo there, and fed the ducks. They also have bikes for rent and pony rides- maybe we will try those next time.

My dad was here all last week- we had a blast. I don't know about him, but this house spent almost all day yesterday resting- we were so tired from the busy week!
Sunday- walk at the beach, toys r us shopping, long walk and playing at the park.
Monday- run to the botanical garden, toured the garden, lunch for restaurant week, bay walk.
Tuesday- Disney! I had never been, so I had a blast!
Wednesday- gym class with Janey, library story time, Duffy boat ride
Then the weather got yucky- 60's and rain:(
Thursday- played inside, afternoon walk, mall to ride the carousel
Friday- library story time and low key time at the house

Birthday

Janey loves Mickey Mouse, so of course, we got her a stuffed Mickey for her birthday.  Here is a video of her receiving the gift - I think it is pretty obvious when he comes into her view:

Santa Monica and Venice Beach

Janey, Ed, and I went to Santa Monica this weekend - I had never been.  Janey enjoyed the Santa Monica pier, but preferred Venice Beach with all its bizarre people!!
