But let me start with what has happened since the last post:
On 1/3 Mommy got very excited because Janey rolled from her tummyto her back. She was upset because we were the only ones there to see it. But luckily Daddy caught it on video the next day:
1/5 Mommy got excited because Janey no longer requires the use of that plastic thing on Mommy's right boob - Oh, I remember what it is called now - a nipple shield. Anyhow, whenever Mommy went to use it, the mipple shield was in a place other than where she was trying to feed Janey. SO she had to get up and go looking for it, which was a hassle. So Mommy is super excited that we no longer have to use it.
1/6 package from Grandma comes:
GRandma wanted to get Janey her first pair of shoes and went shopping to find them. Look what happened - we got a box of shoes (plural!!) I was dissappointed because I got left out - I used to get presents all the time, but no more:(

1/7 Grandpa and Gran Margie arrived. Boy was I excited. I could not believe it when they walked in the door. And I knew only good stuff was to come - Grandpa really likes me - I know, 'cause he tells me all the time. And since he likes me so much, he likes to make me happy. THis means long walks and time at the beach!!! At first I would not go far on walks with Grandpa- I am having a hard time adjusting to this new way of life with a little person. But eventually I would go with GRandpa and boy was it fun. And later in the week Daddy and Grandpa even took me to the beach- without Janey. What a treat!!
1/11 Mommy took Janey to get weighed at the doctor's office - this makes Mommy feel better about Janey's progress. IT also lets Mommy know how close Janey is getting to the 11/12 pound mark. Aunt Leslie and a bunch of those books Mommy reads say that the 11/12 pound mark is a big one. Janey will begin to sleep for about 7 or 8 hours straight once we get there. SO, I was VERY anxious to hear how close we were getting to that mark. Janey weighed in at 9lb 4 oz today. SO, we are getting there.
1/17 and 18
Mommy is very excited, as am I. Janey only woke once during the night for feedings on these nights. Hopefully this trend will continue! Mommy says she can do the once a night feedings for a while and is hoping this is not a tease.
Here are some pics of the week's visit (including my first real bath!)
Grandpa got Janey some cool gifts (Uncle Guffey will be proud!) Again, I got left out of the present giving:

Grand Margie got Janey her first coat:
Janey's first real bath. Janey is really loud and fussy in the evenings, but as soon as Mommy and Daddy put her in the bath, she shuts up - so this is becoming my favorite part of the day (check out those leg rolls - and to think the doctors were worried about Janey's weight!!):
Janey on dad's lap:
1/15 Mommy says Janey has begun to make cooing noises. I had not noticed a difference. BUt once Mommy mentioned it, I began realizing the noise coming out of Janey is much more tolerable now.
WE went for a walk and AUnt Aimee even let me go crazy on the sand. It was a 2 hour walk - I have not had a walk that long in a long time!!!
